Sean and Jordyn met in 2002, as classmates in the 5th grade. It was not love at first sight as Sean with a huge afro was simply touring Jordyn's classroom. However, their friendship continued to evolve over the next three years. That is, until Sean decided to take things a step forward. It was in the Summer of 2006 that Sean took a chance at becoming more than friends with Jordyn, by sending her a song through SMS. The song was "You Should be My Girl" by Sammy. The two made it official on (or around) September 16, 2006 and the rest has been history in the making!
Sean set plans and made arrangements at their newfound fave restaurant (SALAR). Jordyn was busy preparing for their son's first birthday and did not think much of anything when Sean's Mom offered to babysit for the evening. Things grew a little suspicious when the request was for me to wear something dressy (which was difficult during the pandemic!). Once at Salar, Sean and Jordyn were escorted to a private seating area towards the rear. The entire restaurant appeared to be in on it as many anxiously (and awkwardly) greeted the couple walking through. Dinner was so amazing and the server was extremely kind, that the couple was offered free dessert. Sean stepped away to use the restroom and upon returning; he brought champagne and a camera crew in tow. Too anxious to process it all, Jordyn just laughed through the entire proposal (someone even yelled "OMG did she say no?!!") Needless to say, the couple left promoted to ENGAGED! đź’Ť
