If you would like to stay closer to the beach I would recommend any condo or home located on Gulf Shore Dr. in Destin or towards Miramar Beach, FL. This is still a short Uber to the Alice but will feel more like a beach vacation! These as well can be searched on VRBO, AirBNB or Expedia.
