We're Getting Married!

At the time, we were both still in high school, and were working at Coborns in Big Lake. This particular day, we saw each other in the back work room, where I said hi to Kyle. We had a short conversation before I headed into the freezer to collect some items to put on the sales floor. While I was in the freezer, a couple of our coworkers came in and talked a little about inventory, then left... and CLOSED ME IN THE FREEZER! To say that I was terrified, would be an understatement. Thank goodness I had that short conversation with Kyle beforehand because he knew I was in the freezer, and let me out. He saved me and was a true hero! And that is where it all began... and where Rick Kreuger would say, "Now you are stuck with a cold hearted woman," and chuckle.

After a little over four and a half years together, Kyle finally popped the question on a weekend getaway! We stayed in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. While staying there, we decided to drive around to different state parks in Minnesota that weren't too far to do some hiking. We stopped at Whitewater State Park in Minnesota! This is where we had our first camping trip together in previous years. We decided to hike a few of our favorite trails there that led to some great views. Kyle then proposed when we got back from hiking on one of the trails. It was the easiest, and best yes of my life!
