We met on Bumble (ironically, Jordyn’s least favorite dating app). Kyle’s bio mentioned that he was extroverted, and since Jordyn had to send the first message, she opened by saying she could relate. Kyle quickly replied that he could relate to her “2021 Fantasy Football Champion” (humble brag)—and from there, the conversation flowed. After a few weeks of texting, Jordyn went to Fort Worth to visit her friend Olivia to watch football and hang out. When Jordyn mentioned that Kyle lived there, Olivia insisted she tell him that she was in town. He came out to meet them that night, and it didn’t take long for Jordyn to realize she really liked this guy—even though she had almost given up on dating apps altogether.
