FAQs

Question

What to wear?

Answer

We'll be pretty dressed up, so we hope you will be as well. Cocktail attire preferred.

Question

Will There Be Food?

Answer

While we are skipping the formal sit-down dining structure, there will be an abundance of food. Please be ready to eat!

Question

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

Given the structure of our reception, we kindly ask that you leave your children home (with proper supervision). We still love them, promise.

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

Chicago has an array of accommodations to offer. We've added a handful of neighborhoods and hotel options in our Accommodations tab.

Question

What Should We Expect?

Answer

We're shaking things up a bit from a normal wedding reception. Come ready to have fun and be entertained.

Question

Your Ceremony Venue is Outside. What's Plan B?

Answer

No Plan B. We will email everyone if the ceremony gets canceled. If canceled, we'll simply see you at the reception (we all know that is the main event anyway).

Question

Is There a Wedding Party?

Answer

No, we're skipping the formalities.

Question

Where Should I RSVP?

Answer

Via the Paperless Post link sent via email/text. We love you even more if you RSVP on time.

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

Ceremony: We recommend using Uber/Lyft if you will be arriving at the ceremony. **To be dropped off in the correct location for the Cancer Survivors' Garden, ensure you put "E Randolph St & N Field Blvd" for your Uber/Lyft destination.** Reception: Gibsons Italia has valet parking available if you are driving and need to park. There are various public parking options also available nearby (e.g., via SpotHero)
