Cory and Jordyn met a few times over the years, but somehow, they didn’t know each other very well…. YET. After a night out in Miami, Cory woke up to a couple of guys storming into his room at the Airbnb to tell him about this girl named Jordyn that he had to go out with. The boys had known Jordyn throughout their childhood and knew that her fun-loving personality and go-getter energy would be a perfect fit for Cory.  Meanwhile, in Austin, the girls were having a very similar conversation… a couple of the girls knew Cory from IU and realized he was somehow single. As they giggled and chitchatted about how great he was, they had the revelation and similarly said to Jordyn, “You guys would totally hit it off, you have to go out with him.” Both Cory and Jordyn approved after the quick social media search and trusting the word of their closest friends.  Once they got home, they went on a few dates in Chicago and took things slow. They were both waiting for a wedding coming up on Memorial Day weekend, where Cory was a groomsman and Jordyn was a bridesmaid. The wedding came around and Cory and Jordyn hit the dance floor and enjoyed a few drinks together at the wedding.  Ever since then they have been inseparable. They moved in together in February of 2022, picked up Mr. Kobe in October of 2022, Cory asked Jordyn to marry him in March of 2023 in London, and they bought their Lincoln Park condo in April of 2023.
