welcome to our event

how this all happened

Hi friends and family! As you know our relationship has been anything but traditional, so please expect this celebration of love to be the same. Our relationship started back in the Claim Jumper days (the restaurant we both worked at) in 2007, a LONG ass time ago! We weren't "together" back then; we were "buddies," hopefully we don't have to explain what that means to those PG 13 folks. This lasted about, we'll say five years, till we both came to our senses and realized: "hey I actually kind of like this person." Then, we said "let's move in together!" It's been rainbows and butterflies ever since. Well...Not exactly. A short six months after we moved in with each other our landlord decided to kick us out because she wanted her house back! So, Jaclyn went off to live on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii for a few months with her family while poor Jordon was left to sleep on the floor of his best friend Zeb's house (what a bitch). After Jac's frolicking time came to an end, all was well again in Jordon and Jac's world. We moved back into together and this was going swimmingly for a couple of years, but then, we got a wild hair again and decided bye-bye Reno, hello South Lake Tahoe! After a beautiful nine months in our paradise (remember that) Jordon received a call of a lifetime! Well, at least we thought it was. This time to leave Jac and go off to Chicago to chase his dreams! Unfortunately, three soul crushing months later, Jordon came back; we'll just say it wasn't a good fit. Then, back to Reno we went to crash at our good friends Jessica and Adam's place. We made it there for ohh, two months and they were ready for us to go (don't worry, it was us, not them) we've heard we're hard to live with. ;) From new jobs, to new businesses, to new adventures on the road to life there are ups and downs, but we've made it through just like Biggy says: "It was all a dream...and if ya don't know, now ya know, nigga." Come celebrate this new phase with us!
