Question

Is the wedding ceremony & reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony & reception will take place at Cannon Green.

Question

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will take place outside in a courtyard area with heated lamps. Additionally, the cocktail hour will take place in the same area. The reception will take place indoors with access to the courtyard area all night long.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional Black-tie optional is slightly less formal than black-tie attire, and as a result, it allows for a little more flexibility when it comes to your ensemble. For the MEN: Men are NOT required to wear tuxes, but a plus if you do! Or a really nice suit. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred. If opting for a suit, however, any colored suits are acceptable. Dress to impress and have fun with it! Please do not wear jeans. For the WOMEN: Women should wear full-length dresses, but if someone chooses to wear a cocktail dress, it would be completely acceptable! The outfit choices are a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dress pantsuit. If you only have a cocktail dress available, don't feel pressured to wear a gown - just know you CAN wear one if you want to dress up and have fun with it! As far as styling goes, black-tie optional invites you to really experiment with your hair, makeup, and jewelry to become a more elevated version of yourself. When it comes to jewelry, leave the Apple Watch at home and wear jewelry that draws attention to you. Go bold with makeup as well! At the end of the day, black-tie and black-tie optional weddings are a beautiful sight to see when everyone really goes for it, so we encourage you to take the opportunity and dress up. The photos you get from that night will all be worth it! But, if you can't snag a gown or tux, don't feel the pressure to do so. You'll look amazing no matter what you wear!

Question

Answer

Yes, but limited. The venue mostly only has street parking available. We would encourage you to walk, Uber or carpool.

Question

Best site to see in Charleston?

Answer

In our opinion, we would say to make time for the historic "Rainbow Row." Rainbow Row refers to the row of pastel-colored historic homes located on East Bay Street in Downtown Charleston. As one of Charleston's most iconic sites, you can visit this area on any given day and see people getting their photos taken. When these homes were first purchased, they were rather run down and considered a slum. However, in 1931 - Dorothy Porcher Legge purchased the section of homes and decided to the paint them a pretty shade of pastel pink to make the area look nicer. As time went on, other residents on the street began to paint their homes various pastel colors as well.

Question
