Future Mr. & Mrs.

Our meeting couldn't have been more "right place, right time". The year was 2012 and Jordin was minutes away from cancelling plans and staying in for the night. Something told her not to bail, suck it up, and go out. Michael was reluctantly dragged out of the house as well. The girls made their way to the oh-so-classy Power and Light. Tengo's was still a thing and definitely one of the classiest bars in the place (sarcasm). Jordin and Michael had crossed paths earlier in the night while trying to squeeze through the crowd - they locked eyes for a minute, but couldn't interrupt the flow of traffic. The night was winding down, shots had been taken and the lights were close to turning on. One of the guys in Jordin's group was being a tad obnoxious. Michael happened to be in ear shot and took his opportunity. He looked at said obnoxious guy and told him that Jordin was "with him". They proceeded to go to the bar and found themselves in deep conversation - a conversation that never ended. A while later, a successful meeting with the 4-year-old decision maker at T-rex restaurant was enough to seal the deal. Michael decided to forgo returning to New York and put down roots in Kansas City. A proposal in Central Park in NYC opened a whole new chapter to this love story!
