Our story begins long before we ever really knew it. We grew up in the same church, attending the same youth ministry, barely knowing each other's names. After high school, Dalton moved to California for a season, but God had other plans. He felt a strong calling to come back home—and when he did, he returned not just to the same church, but into a season of purpose we never saw coming. As we began serving together in the kids ministry, a friendship formed that quietly but powerfully laid the foundation for something more. It wasn’t chance—it was God’s perfect timing. We officially started dating on January 4, 2022. In the early days, there were plenty of dinner-and-a-movie dates, but what shaped us most were the mornings we woke up before the sun to attend 5am prayer meetings together, followed by breakfast. Those mornings weren’t just dates—they were the beginning of building a relationship centered on Christ. In December 2024, Jordin planned a surprise football-themed birthday party for Dalton—wanting to show him just how loved and appreciated he is. But Dalton had a surprise of his own. After opening a few gifts at the end of the party, he completely flipped the script and proposed—catching Jordin entirely off guard. She was too focused on making his day special to expect her own surprise, and it was perfect in every way. Today, we're planting roots in Camden, SC, where Dalton has been working for the past year. We’re stepping into marriage with excitement and faith, ready to build a life that is Christ-centered, adventure-filled, and full of love. We’ve already started our little family with Luna, our playful three-year-old pup, and Rocket, our one-eyed cat with a big personality. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you—our people, our community, our biggest blessings.
