Technically the first time they met was briefly at Bluewater Bible Camp in 2018. Grace was a lifeguard the week Cam was a camper! Nothing came out of that meeting besides Grace recognizing him when they "re-met" and Cam remembering she was the cute lifeguard from camp! lol They were “officially” introduced through a mutual friend (thanks Tucker). Grace thought Cam was pretty cute but also thought he was a little stuck up. (lol) But then a group of friends got together and planned a trip to Duluth for the day to watch a basketball game. Cam and Grace along with Tucker and Katie all rode together that day with the boys being friends and the girls being friends. After that day began a couple months of texting each other and sharing music back and forth quite frequently, slowly both falling for each other. In May of 2022 they officially started dating and the rest is history!

Using a previously planned Fox family camping trip to Grand Marais as a ploy, Cam’s mom Lisa told everyone they're taking family pictures! The day was spent hanging out on beach with a hike to Artist’s Point planned later for the evening "photo shoot". Grace was completely oblivious the whole time! When they arrived at the point Tim (Cam’s dad) exclaimed “This is the spot!” Cam got Grace to the spot he wanted and gave her a ring pop. Grace laughed and said “Haha” thinking he was messing with her and turned to Cam’s sister, Allie, who was meant to be Grace’s distraction while Cam grabbed the actual ring. He then tapped Grace’s shoulder for her to turn around. Her eyes about popped out her head with an “ARE YOU SERIOUS!” She excitedly said “YES” before he could say anything but then remembered to let him actually ask first! (lol) So much excitement and Lisa “found” some people to take the family pictures which were Grace’s parents who drove all the way from Roseau to surprise her! It was a wonderful day/weekend! We are so excited to celebrate with everyone and so excited to be MARRIED!
