Our love story began in the innocent days of primary school. Young Rikus, in grade 5, and sweet Leoné, in grade 6, found themselves drawn to one another, their hearts fluttering with that first spark of something special. Too shy to express their feelings, they would hold hands through the fence of the after-school daycare, while Rikus poured his heart into love notes and sent thoughtful Valentine's Day gifts. Life took us down different paths as we attended separate high schools, yet God had a devine plan. In 2011, our paths crossed once more, and the connection was immediate. Our hearts, once timid and cautious, began to text with the excitement of rekindled sparks. On the 11th of January 2012, we embarked on a new journey together, our love growing stronger with each passing day. Twelve years later, after navigating trials, tribulations, and making countless cherished memories, our love has stood the test of time.
