In November of 2016 I (Jessica) decided to take a chance. Dustin and I had mutual friends that had told us multiple times how we would make a good couple, but we hadn’t listened. I finally stepped out of my comfort zone and added him on Facebook, thinking if he was interested he would accept and then maybe see my Snapchat and add me. (Yes, I know a very romantic 21st century love story lol) Needless to say, he accepted my friend request on Facebook, but he didn’t get the hint that I hadn’t added him on Snapchat until a few weeks later. A Snapchat notification popped up on my phone where someone named Dustin had tried to add me. Of course I accepted, and me being the go getter that I am, started trying to get my best selfie skills on to get a good picture Incase he snapchatted me. Well, I got a really good one, and I asked a friend if it was good, of course she said yes. Then she sent it to him. Let me tell you, I was horrified lol. He read it and didn’t reply. Which at this point I’d given up all hope. Until, he snapped me back about 30 minutes later. We haven’t stopped talking since. Our first date was to the Memphis Zoo to see the Christmas Lights, he bought me chicken strips and stole my heart. From then on out we have shared so many memories and fun times together. We’ve traveled to Fayetteville, Branson, and St. Louis together. (Not counting multiple trips to the lake) We love to cook together, watch movies, goof around, and go shopping. In March of this year we closed on a 2 bedroom 1 bath house with an acre of land that we are currently in the process of fixing up and making it our own! We cannot wait to tie the knot with family and friends there to witness. We hope everyone can make it to our special day! :)
