We’re getting married!

It all started with two college kids looking for someone to spend time with on…Tinder. Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined to find “the one” via a dating app, but somehow we did. During spring finals week Trevor came to see me at work in the College of Business. From there we just loved to be in each others company. Before we knew it we were spending all of our time together, just being together was enough to make us happy. We were in college, going out and doing big things was not in the budget. We grew together, finished college and fell more in love everyday. It didn’t take long for us to know we never wanted to be with someone else. When they say opposites attract they were talking about us. His taste in music and very chill demeanor was quite the opposite of my taste in music and get-up-and-go attitude. But we’re each others perfect balance.

We love to be outdoors and see all that nature has provided in the beautiful Southern Illinois area. We had planned a date day full of hiking, wineries, and dinner. At Ferne Clyffe State Park, we went to the waterfall trail which was beautiful and flowing from the rain we received earlier that morning. There were a lot of people at the waterfall and Trevor wanted our story to begin with just him and I. On our way back down the path to head home it was just the two of us on the open path, surrounded by the beautiful trees and trickling river. We stop and take in the amazing scenery when before I realize what’s happening he is down on one knee asking me the question I have always dreamed of. Of course the answer was YES, no doubt, no hesitation! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
