Ever dream of going on a road trip where the halfway point is Louisville (clearly written by someone from Chicago)? Or maybe you just yearn for the open road! Well, make a trip out of it. Ooh! Or that dream of getting an RV and driving it through the mountains? Check that box! Or feel free to throw a tent in the trunk. Camping on the property is smiled upon and encouraged. We have tons of space and proper amenities on the property. So if you want to camp in the Appalachian mountains (but also on a nice property), we open our doors to you!

There will be shuttle busses available to and from Shady and Damascus both before and after the wedding! They will leave from the Old Mill Inn and will drop you off where you are staying at the end of the night. Schedule to follow!

This riverside inn with a log cabin vibe is centrally located in Damascus alongside the Virginia Creeper Trail. We have blocked all of the rooms (12) at this location until June 1st. Call and say you are with the Mullins-McCarthy Wedding and Carrie (most likely) will hook you up! They also have a bar / restaurant downstairs and is where the shuttle bus will pick up people for the wedding.

Travel Note
Damascus: The easiest route is via sites like AirBNB and VRBO (our two recommended sites to go with but there are others), but there are also a lot of rental places that you will need to find online and then call. A lot of "charming" websites out there! Outside of Damascus: Go for it! There are a ton of incredible rentals outside of the town of Damascus. You will just have to drive. We will have parking available at the wedding. The shuttles will drop people off where they are staying if it is in Damascus, but I bet if you slip the driver a 20 they will take you a bit further :). There is parking available at the Old Mill (where the shuttle is leaving from) for all!
