This hotel is the location of the ceremony and reception. There is a discount for a limited number of guests for our wedding night. Please CALL to book your room and mention our wedding for the discount rate. (You will not get the discount if you book online.) Please note: there is a biking event this weekend and hotel rooms are booking up quickly, especially Saturday July 1.

Flight

Aer Lingus- Recommend Flying into Shannon Airport Co. Clare

Aer Lingus usually has the best rates for flights! It is about a 2 hour drive from Shannon Airport (Co. Clare) to the Great Southern Killarney Hotel (Co. Kerry). There is public transport via bus, or you can rent a car, depending on your schedule of site seeing. For US guests, please be informed that most of the rental cars will be standard and you will be driving on the left side of the road. We are working on providing a shuttle bus or 2 from Shannon airport to Killarney. Please let us know in advance if you are interested, so we have plenty of time to organize this. As of now, we have one planned for flights arriving on Thursday June 29, 2023 morning (Wed 6/28 evening flight from East Coast). You can also fly into Dublin and take the train to Killarney, or fly into London and then fly directly into Kerry.

The Lake Hotel

This is a O'Sullivan family favorite hotel, with beautiful views of the Killarney National Park. Be aware that you will need to take a taxi or bus into town (about 5 min ride).

There is a train station directly across the street from the Great Southern Killarney Hotel. It is a great option from those who are traveling from Dublin. It is about a 3 hour train ride through the countryside.
