A Sharpe Day to Remember

Early in 2022, Chance made the move from Midland to New Braunfels for work, living out of a hotel while settling in. Little did he know, a swipe on a dating app would change everything. That’s how he met Jordann, a California girl who had made Texas her home. Their first date was at Texas Roadhouse, and from the very beginning, there was a spark neither of them could ignore. Over time, that spark grew as they explored the Lone Star State together, from weekends in Fort Worth to coastal getaways, floating the Frio River and wine tasting in Fredericksburg. Chance introduced Jordann to parts of Texas she’d never seen, and probably wouldn’t have visited on her own (Midland included). Despite the friendly teasing and the cultural differences between a Texan and a Californian, they quickly became each other’s favorite travel companion, support system, and best friend. Early on, Jordann was introduced to Saige — Chance’s loyal and loving dog. It didn’t take long before Saige had fully claimed Jordann as her mom. Together, the three became a little family, sharing road trips and lots of love. Eventually, Chance was given the opportunity to move back to Midland — the one place Jordann swore she’d never live. But when you’ve found the love of your life, it’s an easy choice. They packed up and made the move together, knowing that the real purpose of Chance’s move to New Braunfels had nothing to do with work. It was to meet Jordann, his future wife. They got engaged on a trip to Big Bend, surrounded by incredible views and the quiet beauty of West Texas. Now, they’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife — and as a family of three with their girl Saige by their side.
