FAQs

if you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to our wedding planner, Merida, at eventsbymerida@gmail.com.
Question

What are your requirements regarding COVID-19?

Answer

Unfortunately, even after delaying our event for a year, COVID-19 has remained an ongoing issue. This means that we will need to follow the current mandates set by the city of Philadelphia in order to ensure the health and safety of our family and friends. UPDATE - 4/25/22 The Philly mask mandate only lasted a week before they realized how unnecessary it was. Masks are now optional and will be provided. We will update this section if there are any new changes.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. We ask that our guests reserve our wedding colors, mint and blush, to the wedding party. And, of course, no wedding dresses.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We want to celebrate with our whole family! Just let us know so that we can ensure that we have enough seats for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! We want everyone to feel comfortable with someone close to talk to when the bride and groom are inevitably too busy to be found. Just let us know their name when you RSVP so that we can save a seat for them.
