Things To Do

Enjoy your time around bloomington (even if you're a boilermaker). There are plenty of things to do in bloomington, nearby towns, and state parks and forests near our venue. No matter what you are looking to do, there is something near bloomington that you will enjoy.

Hoosier National Forest

811 Constitution Avenue, Bedford, IN 47421
, (812) 275-5987

This is a great place for hiking and getting out in nature. Some of the best rolling hills in Indiana are in hoosier national. We recommend the Hemlock Cliffs National Scenic Trail.

B-Line Trail

B-Line Trail, Bloomington, IN

A Paved Pedestrian path that makes Bloomington easy to navigate even without a car.

Monroe Lake

IN 47401

Lake Monroe is Indiana's largest inland lake (of course our tiny bit of lakeshore in lake michigan in the north). There are plenty of recreational activities to do around the area.

Brown County State Park

1801 Indiana 46 East, Nashville, IN 47448

This is one of Zoe and Jimmy's favorite places. This state park offers some of the best views in the state (according to Zoe and Jimmy). There is also a horse campground where people love to take their horses to camp and trailride.

Nashville Artist Colony

Nashville, IN 47448

Located in the heart of brown county, Nashville is a favorite destination for the couple. It is a tiny town filled with friendly people, good food/wine/drinks, and plenty of small stores that are just so cute that you have to step inside. Zoe loves the boutiques and antique stores and Jimmy loves the candy and icecream shops. One of our favorite destinations is the glass studio on the main street.
