WhiteWater Express
Whitewater Express is a popular outdoor adventure outfitter in downtown Columbus, GA, offering one of the most exciting whitewater experiences in the Southeast on the Chattahoochee River. The rafting course here is recognized as the longest urban whitewater rafting run in the world, with daily dam releases that create Class I–V rapids suitable for everyone from beginners to thrill-seekers.
The National Infantry Museum
Just a short drive from downtown Columbus, this world-renowned museum honors the history and legacy of the U.S. Army Infantry from the Revolutionary War to today. Visitors can explore immersive exhibits filled with artifacts, interactive displays, outdoor memorials, and memorial plazas dedicated to major conflicts in American history. The museum is free to enter (with optional experiences like the Giant Screen Theater and virtual reality simulators available for a fee) and makes a meaningful cultural stop for guests interested in U.S. military history during their visit.

Columbus Botanical Garden
"Located on 40 acres of greenspace in north Columbus, GA. We currently have 4 developed acres with new gardens to come. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for kids, ages 2-17. We are pleased to provide an attractive venue and colorful setting for photography, special events, horticultural seminars and community learning."
Chattahoochee River Walk

Reservation only upper scale Italian mob style restaurant. Sometimes you can squeeze into the bar area with no reservation if there is availability. Gabagool is also owned by the same owner of Animal Farm, who is catering our wedding.
The Animal Farm
Our absolute favorite restaurant!! For brunch we recommend the chicken biscuit and gravy, the grit bowl, or the peach cobbler chicken & waffles. The burger is Zach's absolute favorite, Katie's is the braised beef pasta. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
