Maid of Honor
I would introduce her as my future sister-in-law, but she has been a sister to me since the day we met. From laughing at my stupid jokes to being my duo in Just Dance, Nat's always down to be a silly goose with me. But she also offers guidance through tough situations and cares deeply for those she loves. On any new adventure we go on, she's there next to me to help me overcome any fear (with some slander and force) and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so thankful to have Nat by my side for not only my wedding, but for hers too.
Best Man
My best man is my older brother, MD Hunter Pyle. When you look up hard-working, dedicated, genius, a picture of him is generated through the search engine. From SMU, to Johns Hopkins, to UT Southwestern, he's +150 in the odds of smartest man alive. Hunter's guidance has been a huge blessing as I have matured - I am honored to follow in his footsteps. He has been by my side throughout all the chapters of my life and this will be the most memorable one yet - I wouldn't be who I am today without him.
Bridesmaid
From high school sophomore year PE to now, Keila has been with me through every phase of mine. She became friends with me during my overdrawn eyebrows phase and if that’s not real love, I’m not sure what is. We went to the same community college after high school and that's when we became close. She has great fashion taste (we have the exact same things) and is the type of friend you can talk to for hours. Whether we have a set plan to go somewhere or are just hanging out at one of our houses or sitting in one of our cars, we never get bored of one another's company.
Groomsman
In 4th grade, Jacob moved to Blue Ridge from Arizona. Shortly after that, I hit him on the head with a football at recess. Since then, we have been best friends and he has been like a second brother to me. Jacob and I share about 90% of our interests and if one of us develops a new one, the other will follow suit within the month. Having Jacob by my side since we were 11 years old has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, and I'm excited for us both to become married men within the next year. Jacob will always be the one that got away.
Bridesmaid
When I first met Lydia junior year of high school, I was hesitant to talk to her (she has an RBF), but I’m so glad that I did. Whenever I was with Lydia, there was no telling what our itinerary would look like. We could be going to Sonic getting half-off drinks or we could be running from the cops, sometimes even in the same day. If I wanted to leave somewhere, I always looked for Lydia, because she usually felt the same and we would just go to Whataburger or Sonic again. She shows tough love (she bullies me), but has such a kind heart and will do anything for those she loves.
Groomsman
When I first hung out with Joshua, it was through his older brother, Jacob Stroup. Even though Joshua seemed like a tiny kid compared to us middle schoolers, he fit right in and was the perfect addition to our friend group. Since then, he has become a certified killer with the Army and one of my best friends. I'm very excited to have him be a part of my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Sofia and I had art class together in high school and reconnected while passing by each other in lululemon. That’s when we found out we were both moving to Dallas after college. When we caught up, it felt like it was only yesterday that we were getting in trouble in art class for talking too much (mainly her). Sofia brings a sense of calmness, but can be crazy when need be. She's always down to do anything, even if it’s me convincing her to go to a Creed concert (I'm not even sure if she knew who they were at the time).
Groomsman
When I think of Jacob, I think of surviving a near-death experience on a mountain in Colorado, watching UFC fights, hanging out at the Garhole, and attending church services held by a guy who went to the same MMA gym as us. Now, Jacob is stationed in Monterey to learn Arabic for the military - what a beast. I'm very excited for Jacob to be one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
I chose to sit beside Sophie in one of my classes during my last semester at A&M. After talking for a few minutes, we realized she went to the same small high school as Riley! From joining the Mays Sales Club together to creating our 12th Woman Podcast, she always encourages me to do everything with confidence (even if we have no idea what we are doing). Sophie's always making sure everyone around her is happy before she even begins to think about herself. She acts selflessly in every decision she makes and her love is shown through her endless kindness.
Groomsman
Jack Miller, AKA Georgia Jack. What a guy. We became friends at the Reagan airport in DC before attending an FBI youth leadership program. Even though neither of us pursued a career with the FBI, we have remained connected through the years. Whether I'm visiting Georgia, or Jack is in Texas, we stay in contact and enjoy conversation about our mutual interests. Jack is one of the most genuine, intelligent, and faithful people I know and I'm honored to have him be part of my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Katie was a random roommate assignment during my first year at Texas A&M, and was one of my first close friends away from home. She's always ready to join me in any plan, even if it's just running errands, she's always happy to be there. Her laugh is contagious (it's usually laughing at her own dark humor) and you never know what she may say next (that's a threat). She is a ride or die type of friend, always ready to have your back in any situation. There is truly never a dull moment with Katie and her energy lights up any room she's in.
Groomsman
When I first met Preston, we were grinding as interns together at Deloitte. Through our shared time in the trenches, we became close and our friendship grew more over our last year at Texas A&M. Now, Preston has become one of my best friends and is always a voice of reason when it's needed. He's destined to be an extremely successful businessman and I'm excited to watch what he does in life. I'm also very excited to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Could you believe I had two successful college roommate assignments in a row? Frida moved in shortly after Katie and we became the three musketeers (three blind mice is more fitting). We always made an excuse for every task to be a three man job, even if it was just going grocery shopping. If I was ever worried about spending money, Frida would offer to pay, but also tell me to shut up in the same breath. She seems like she gives tough love, but deep down she just wants the best for the people she cares about most.
Groomsman
Me and Alex got sat next to each other in an Audit class during our junior year at Texas A&M. He ate up a joke I had about the girl in front of us saying "like" every other word, and since then we have been cracking jokes with each other about anything and everything. If anyone needs any plumbing products, hit up Universal Plumbing Supply in Houston. Alex is the man in charge and as the most ambitious learner and lover of business that exists, him and his company are destined for something great. I'm honored to have Alex as one of my groomsmen, but I'm most excited to have him on my bachelor trip.
