Zack and I are both unsure of when we met for the first time but we do know that we met because of Kayla Obert. Kayla and I went to college together and we both majored in nursing. Over the course of our time at Bellarmine we became very good friends and we would get together outside of the classroom. On several occasions, Zack was present at these gatherings. Zack and I knew each other for several years before we decided to officially become a couple. The timing was never perfect, but we ultimately decided to take a BIG leap of faith! Now, a little over 4 years later, here we are, ready to take our next big leap of faith together as we say “I DO.”

Annually, Zack's Dad has a Christmas party for close friends and family. This year, however, would be a little more magical. Santa always makes an appearance at the party and hands out gifts to all of the children. Typically, Santa calls the name of each child, they come up, sit on his lap, receive their gift, and go sit back down. This year, after all the kids had received their gifts, Jordan was called up to sit on Santa's lap. Jordan opened the gift and found an ornament with Finn's ultrasound picture on it that said, "Mommy, will you marry my Daddy already?" Talk about the sweetest proposal EVER!
