Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) in Panama City Beach, Florida is approximately 20-25 miles from WaterColor, Florida. Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) in Valparaiso, Florida is approximately 30-40 miles from WaterColor, Florida. Both ECP and VPS airports have rental car options, taxis, and ride-sharing services (Uber/Lyft) available for the 30-60 minute drive to WaterColor.

The WaterColor Inn & Resort is the most convenient place to stay for our wedding weekend, with many of the events nearby. It’s located right on the beach and offers full resort amenities. As a luxury property, room rates are on the higher side compared to other options. The Lodge 30A is a more affordable hotel option located just outside the community. While it’s a bit farther from the wedding events, it’s still only about a 9-minute drive, making it a convenient option for the weekend. For friends and family traveling in groups, renting a beach house is a great way to stay together! Many homes accommodate larger parties and are located in nearby areas such as WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove Beach, Grayton Beach, and Santa Rosa Beach. We recommend booking early, as summer is a busy travel season and rentals may require minimum night stays. Guests staying in beach houses or condos within the WaterColor community should also receive guest access to resort amenities through their rental management.

Beach Access

When planning accommodations and beach days, please note that access to WaterColor Beach and all WaterColor Resort community amenities are reserved for guests staying at the WaterColor Inn or in a beach house or condo within the WaterColor Resort community. For guests staying within the community, beach chair setups can be reserved in advance through the following link. https://www.watercolorresort.com/beach-setups If you're staying elsewhere along 30A, there are several public beach access points nearby. Seaside Beach is primarily reserved for guests staying within the Seaside community; however, limited public access is available through Seaside's Coleman Pavilion with a reservation through Cabana Man. https://seasidefl.com/stay/cabana-man-beach-setup/ Grayton Beach State Park is another public beach access option.
