We are getting married!!

We were both starting new chapters in our lives and, with that, new careers teaching ballroom dance. We didn't realize just how much our new journeys would impact our lives when they brought us together. We’d both grown up with dance in our lives, but neither of us had trained in ballroom. Our training, studying, and laughing together built a friendship. After making such big changes in our lives, we found ourselves sharing our dreams and aspirations with each other, building a bond and support system like neither of us had ever experienced before. After that, it was undeniable that our adventure was intertwined and way bigger than we ever thought imaginable!

Lion King has been a pretty huge theme in our relationship (ok... Disney in general is a pretty big theme for us, but especially the Lion King!) From silly things like Jordan calling Zach "Simba", because of that mane he had when we first started dating. To Zach calling Jordan "Nala" because of the way Nala looks at Simba. And then there is Hakuna Matata... At the end of one of our first dates, out for dinner to The Cheesecake Factory, we discussed many different things about ourselves. One thing that came up was how Jordan picked Avery as her daughter’s name. Within that discussion we found out that, when we were younger, we both had decided what our future children’s names would be. Zach told Jordan if he had a girl, he wanted to name her Lilly. Bizarrely enough, Jordan had picked the same name! Jordan followed up with her name for a boy, Landon. We then discover that we wanted the same exact names for our children. We couldn’t believe what a weird coincidence that was… or was it a sign? Later in our relationship, as we found out that we were expecting a child, that little "coincidence" was the most comforting information to carry around with us. We were terrified, but that similarity on something from years before we’d known each other revealed itself as God's plan for us all along. Then SURPRISE came Landon! At this moment we know together we are stronger than we ever thought we could be, so HAKUNA MATATA! Now with Avery, Lilly, and Landon, we have them ALL and our beautiful family is complete! All we are missing now is to celebrate our love and family with all of you!! <3
