Our story began in the most unexpected way—on a kayaking trip. At that time, we never imagined that day would change our lives. Honestly, we didn’t click right away. She was only 19, he was 26, and she even teased him by calling him “uncle.” But little did we know, that playful start was the beginning of something special. Not long after, he asked her on a date. Our very first date was simple—pizza and a walk. Nothing fancy, just us talking, laughing, and realizing there might be something more between us. Two months later, on another date, he asked her to be his girlfriend. On April 23, 2021, we officially started this journey together, and from that day, everything began to change. Since then, we’ve shared so many milestones—building a life side by side, buying our first home, and filling it with love (and plenty of laughter thanks to our two dogs, Meow and Ramen). They’ve brought joy, chaos, and cuddles into our lives, making our little family complete. Now, we’re about to take the next step—marriage. As we say “I do,” we look back with gratitude for how it all began and look forward with excitement for all the adventures still ahead.
