How we met…

We first met in 2012, when we went to homecoming in the same group. We weren’t each other’s dates—just two teenagers who exchanged a quick hello before drifting back into our own circles. For the next few years, life carried us in different directions. We had separate friends, separate paths, and only the faint memory of that first introduction. Then, in 2015, everything changed because of one simple mistake. He meant to text someone else, but the message ended up on my phone instead. What could have been an awkward moment turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the beginning of something we never saw coming. By the end of senior year, we had found our way to each other completely. From bleacher dates at sporting events and hallway smiles to dinner dates and late-night talks, our days quickly became filled with love. What started as a chance encounter and an accidental text grew into the sweetest love story—one that led us here, to forever.

Our Engagement Story…

Trey had the perfect plan. He told Jordan they needed to stop by her grandparents’ lake home to grab something for their upcoming vacation. The drive there was filled with laughter, music, and Justin Bieber on repeat—Jordan’s longtime favorite—while Trey teased her about him being her “second love.” When they arrived, Jordan was surprised to see photos of the two of them hanging from the big tree by the lake, each one a little piece of their journey together. Trey led her down to the dock, the water calm and the moment just right. There, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Jordan’s answer was an immediate and excited “yes!”—so excited, in fact, that she gave him the wrong hand. With laughter and happy tears, they slipped the ring onto the correct hand, sealing the start of their next chapter with love, joy, and a story they’ll never forget.
