We first crossed paths at a mutual friend's house party, right on the doorstep. Our initial conversation sparked over our shared love for the Anaheim Ducks hockey team. It felt as if we were the only two people in the room, lost in our own world. Fast forward a couple of months, and even though Travis went off to school in Wisconsin, we reconnected during Christmas break. That reconnection led to our first date at Aloha Grill in Huntington Beach, where the conversation flowed effortlessly, and it felt like we had known each other forever. We both left that evening with the feeling that we were meant to be together. Despite the distance, we embarked on a long-distance relationship for the first year, and it only brought us closer. Now, after ten wonderful years together, our bond has only grown stronger.
