TJ and Jordan met in Pittsburgh, PA. Their first date took place at a restaurant incubator called Smallman Galley in the Strip District. TJ knew of Jordan's love for food early on and wowed her with dinner; Pizza, Poke and Porter. He then took her up to Mt. Washington where they shared their first kiss with a beautiful view of the city of Pittsburgh. The rest was history. A few weeks later, TJ asked Jordan to make this thang official after an intense Pirates game and dancing all night at a piano bar! Their passions for travelling, food and being active (and for doggos) fed their connection with each other. After an amazing trip to Paris and Munich (lots of wine and beer), the adoption of their pupper Rory, and a big move across multiple states to New York; TJ decided to propose to Jordan.

TJ proposed during a beautiful rainstorm on July 3rd. It was a huge surprise because initially it was just going to be a Friday date night. He took Jordan down to their special spot on a nearby beach for a quick walk with their dog, Rory, and popped the question! Afterwards, they drove over to Jordan's parent's house to tell them the big news and once they arrived, a big surprise party was waiting for them with some of the most special people in their lives. The whole holiday weekend was full of partying and good vibes with friends and family on the beach!
