We hope you all have stayed safe and sane during these crazy times. Even though the crazy COVID monster forced us to delay our wedding, we were still able to formally tie the knot back in July in the mountains of Colorado. However, we so badly want to celebrate our marriage with ALL our friends and family, so we have rescheduled the ceremony and reception for August 21, 2021. We sincerely hope that everyone will be vaccinated by this time. Additionally, we and our venue have been working on changes to the ceremony and reception to keep everyone as safe and comfortable as possible. That being said, we completely understand that not everyone may feel comfortable attending, and we wholly support whatever decision our guests choose to make. Tayler and Jordan met at the USC Student Health Center, her a visiting medical student from Washington DC and Jordan a visiting medical student from New Orleans. It was love at first vaccination. Jordan invited Tayler and some other medical students over to his rental with the sneaky intention of spending time with just her. After that initial get-together, the two were inseparable. They explored Los Angeles post-call. They went surfing. They grew closer. After that, the two spent interview season together exploring new locations from Chicago to Santa Barbara. The matching process was scary. One computer algorithm that matches medical students to their residency program would seal their fate forever. The odds were stacked against them, but with a little effort and a lot of luck, they both matched at their first choice, USC. Intern year was filled with ups and downs. The long hours' only saving grace was their passing interactions in the hall. Seeing each other would immediately brighten their day and remind them that there was a world outside medicine that was exciting and new. In the summer of 2019 at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Jordan asked Tayler to be his wife, and she said YES! They celebrated with Tayler’s sisters and now the fun really begins - planning the celebration of our love with the people most important to us! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
