Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Wilds at Cedar Valley. Please see the "Schedule" tab for location and timeline details.

Question

What's the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both take place outdoors. During cocktail hour guests will have access to the screened in pavilion where our reception will take place. This being said, dress for the August weather! For those planning on wearing heels, since we'll be outdoors, it's suggested to opt for wedges instead of stilettos (wear your dancing shoes! :) ) We want our guests to be comfortable and have a good time - dress in what makes you comfortable and feel good! Your presence is what we care about most :)

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will both be held outdoors (pray for sunshine!). See above for further details.

Question

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the event, but our ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue. There is ample free parking for those who feel comfortable driving. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink. Guests are able to leave their vehicles overnight on Saturday and pick up Sunday morning should they need to do so.

We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert!

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day! There will be a space when you RSVP to provide us with information about your dietary needs.
