We met at the Hyatt Regency in Scottsdale where we both worked in an upscale Italian restaurant. We remained friends and coworkers for a couple of years before starting to date in 2017. Eventually, Shaun moved to Flagstaff to attend NAU and that is where we grew into the couple we are today.

We were taking a trip to Utah to see Zion National Park. We made a stop along the way at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. We were awestruck by the peacefulness and beauty of the area. Shaun had planned on proposing that Saturday when we were in Bryce Canyon, but it was in the sand dunes that he realized there was not going to be a more perfect and secluded moment than the one we were experiencing so he got down on one knee. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
