Garner State Park

Approximately 35 minutes from guest lodging, there's plenty of great hiking, swimming, and kayaking in this scenic park.

Devil's Sinkhole Bat Tour

Some 3 million bats emerge in a swirling mass from the Devil’s Sinkhole in search of food on warm nights. Marvel at the amazing spectacle from the platform above the sinkhole. (Fun fact: they used to let you peer over the edge while someone else held your ankles. Safety has since become a higher priority!)
