Jordan was born in Sylvania Ohio, and grew up in Battle Creek, MI. She grew up alongside her older brother, Justin, who served as a great role model & one of her biggest supporters. She was lucky enough to have another brother at heart, her older cousin Charlie, who she also shares a special connection with. These brothers taught Jordan how to be tough, fearless & have fun. Jordan also grew up with wonderful love and support from her parents Robyn, (mother), Shawn (father), and Sara (stepmother). They encouraged her to be herself, follow her dreams & believe that anything was possible. She always had a passion for animals, nature, art, dance & exploration. If she wasn’t playing with her brothers outside, she was choreographing dances, creating art or learning about faraway places. In high school, she immersed herself in the sciences and went on to study Biology at Western Michigan University while working for a local Marketing firm. Following college, she pivoted to a career in Marketing and built her own side hustle for wellness clients. She moved to Jacksonville in 2018 after falling in love with Sean & now works as a Project Manager for a local marketing Agency. She enjoys spending time outdoors, going kayaking & to the beach, drinking craft beer, doing yoga & spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things include their 2 cats, Peach and Klaus, their Corgi, Alba, ramen noodles, Acupuncture & Chinese medicine, moon phases, Kesha, & flower photography.
Sean Ogilby
Groom
Sean was born in Lexington, KY in 88’ and spent most of his life in the Midwest, growing up in Rockford, IL. He showed very early interest in the arts and architecture & was always active and engaged in sports, activities, extracurriculars, and reading. As an introvert, he developed a close-knit group of friends that remain in his life today. He graduated high school from Boylan Central Catholic High School in 2006 and Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Architecture. He was very engaged in clubs, groups, and organizations. His interests expanded to the outdoors, kayaking and hiking. After college he lived in Rockford, IL where he worked at an aerospace engineering company before returning to Architecture. After working for a small architecture firm for 4 years, he found a new opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. Moving to Florida, he joined a firm that led him to his licensure. Two months later, he met his future bride just down the street from his parents while she was visiting from Michigan with her parents for a holiday weekend. They quickly hit it off, their relationship blossomed and she moved down to FL as well. After years together growing, exploring FL and traveling, they got engaged in 2022 during a trip to the Smokey Mountains. While being an introvert at heart, Sean has found the person whom he cannot spend enough time with. She recharges his energy, supports him, and is now the pinnacle monument of love, life and future.
Chris Ogilby
Best Man
Chris is Sean’s younger, yet taller brother. Chris currently resides in Paris, France with his wife, Rachel, and 2 young boys, Ryan and Jack. Sean and Chris grew up only a few years apart. They grew up in collaboration and competition, always playing together from shooting basketball to video games and concerts. They enjoyed outdoor activities together and grew up encouraging, supporting, and challenging each other. They got along great at times and fought other times as all brothers do, but no matter what, they always held one family responsibility above all else - to be a big brother to their little sister Danielle. Chris is always open to playing games and loves spending time with friends and family. He’s a family man who never hesitates to engage others and bring a smile. He has a great passion for sports & he’ll be the first one to pick up a ball to play any game you can think of. An incredibly smart man who graduated from the legacy family high school Boylan in Rockford Illinois, he went on to study and graduate from Case Western University. Soon after he became a licensed CPA practicing in Cleveland OH before moving to France. Chris enjoys traveling and experiencing all the world has to offer. Always open to trying new experiences, he’ll push you to explore and discover. Chris and Sean's relationship spans any distance and time. When they get together, they speak another language of memories, movie quotes, and seem to know what’s on the other’s mind. on!
Kerri Dunlap
Maid of Honor
Kerri has been Jordan’s best friend since they met in dance class at 5 years old! She was the only friend Jordan invited to her 5th birthday party. Kerri, Jordan and Lauren (bridesmaid) grew up together in Battle Creek, Michigan sharing classes, playing volleyball, hanging out at the lake, going on nature adventures, late-night coffee shop shenanigans and everything in between. They have traveled together to Florida, Utah, Mexico (twice), Chicago, and taken lots of trips to Northern Michigan. She is Jordan’s concert buddy and never turned down the opportunity to see Panic! At the Disco or Kesha. She is the only person Jordan ever got into a fistfight with (age 15, they made up immediately). Kerri has always had Jordan’s back and been by her side through all the highs, lows and heartbreaks. She and Sean have become great friends over the last few years and love hanging out when she comes to visit. Kerri now lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her little dog Rusko. She and Jordan still talk almost daily and occasionally facetime for 5+ hours sharing drinks and passing time as if there is no distance between them. They also have matching dinosaur tattoos.
Lauren Martin
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Jordan met in middle school and have been friends ever since! They played volleyball together for several years at Harper Creek, bonding over the fact that they were both 5’2” in height - and still are. She and Jordan (and Kerri) attended lots of football games together (painted stomachs and all), every school dance, and both went on to attend Western Michigan University. They’ve spent many days at the lake, hanging out at the sandbar, boating and catching up with old friends. Lauren has always been an inspiring friend, who was down to run 5K color runs and meet new people during nights out on the town. They also have traveled together to Florida, Utah, and Mexico (twice). Lauren also now lives in Grand Rapids Michigan and despite the distance, she, Jordan and Kerri have remained life long best friends. They do not have matching dinosaur tattoos…yet :)
Adam Groeninger
Groomsman
Adam is Sean’s cousin. He currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife Stephanie. Sean and Adam grew up together side by side. Thick as thieves, their friendship lasted through the years. From playing in the yard to reading, and games; their lives were intertwined. Family and friends, school and work, ambitions and secrets; there wasn’t much they didn’t share. If they didn’t share the same hobby or the same predilection, they supported each other. They talk through each other, never at one another, knowing their friendship that would last a lifetime. Adam is a creative, insightful and unique person who pours his soul into the things he loves. His love for things is not separate from what he does in his everyday life. He does what he loves and loves what he does. Adam went from making movies as a kid with a camcorder to participating in high school theater, graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University, and now works as Production Manager for Music entertainers. He’ll tell you he’s just a roadie at heart, but what he really does is bring forth events. He manifests them into being, sometimes through sheer will, to make every encounter, every event something that matters. He brings energy and life wherever he goes. I’ll end this bio with a special thanks to him not just a cousin and friend. It’s a thanks for being my confidant and partner to this traveling man, whose wisdom, insight and empathy have helped me grow to be the man I am today.
