Question

What is ETIAS and do I need it?

Answer

ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) functions similarly to a visa waiver program. Most applications are processed within minutes however, some may take up to 30 days if additional checks are required. You cannot apply yet, it is scheduled to be launched May 2025. More info to come.

Question

Passport Expiration?

Answer

To be safe, make sure your passport expires AFTER April 2026. The 6-month passport rule states that your passport must be valid for another six months before you depart for international travel.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

As we are organizing multiple events for our wedding celebrations we ask that you RSVP as soon as you know if you will or will not be attending so we can organize with our vendors. However the official deadline, is June 1, 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to count you as a "no." Please refer to RSVP page where you can RSVP to each event!

Question

When should I book my flight?

Answer

We recommend to book your flights as soon as possible for the best rates!! 2025 is the year of Jubilee so you can expect prices to be higher than usual but can still find reasonable prices if you book early.

Question

What is the closest airport to Castello Brancaccio?

Answer

Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" is the closest airport, about 45 minutes, from Castello Brancaccio.

Question

Will you have a shuttle service to and from the venue?

Answer

No! We selected Castello Brancaccio not just for its beautiful scenery but because it could accommodate for all of our family and friends! We hope that you all choose to stay at Castello Brancaccio. If you choose to stay outside of the hotel, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there are three days of festivities, each with their own dress code. Some are more casual, and others are more formal. Please refer to the "Wedding Events" section to see the dress code for each event.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Unless specified on your formal invitation or when you go to RSVP on the website, we ask that you do not bring a guest. We will only allocate seating arrangements for the guests who RSVP.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We look forward to celebrating with you and we love your little ones! BUT our wedding events will be adult only events (with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer) so please plan ahead.

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

September time is lovely in Rome! Average high are high 70's and average low are in the 60's with very little humidity.

Question

Can I change my dinner selection?

Answer

You may change your dinner selection up to three months prior before our wedding date. After this point, we are unable to accommodate any further changes. Our culinary experience has been thoughtfully designed with each of our guests in mind, featuring locally grown and sourced ingredients that are carefully planned based on the final RSVPs. Once these details are provided to our caterers, adjustments are unfortunately not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

What is the Jubilee?

Answer

Of course the year we get married in Italy is the year of the Jubilee! The Jubilee is a holy year in the Roman Catholic Church that takes place every 25 years, and is a time of celebration, spiritual renewal, and connection to faith. During the Jubilee, the pope may grant Catholics remission of sins, or an indulgence, under certain conditions, such as completing the pilgrimage to Rome.
