Where should guest park/ Is parking free

Answer

There is plenty of parking behind the venue and it is all free. The venue is on the square, but the parking in on the back side on E Center St. There will also be parking around the square in downtown Canton. There will be no valet so plan accordingly.

There will be no daycare option at the wedding

do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes we have chosen the holiday inn express in canton. You can call and book a room asking for our name to get the discount. We only blocked off 15 rooms.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP deadline will be May 31st, 2020

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What Kind of food?

Answer

There will be beer and wine served at the reception. We will only have a certain amount so when it is gone it is gone. We will also be having heavy Hors d'oeuvres for the reception.

What Happens after the ceremony

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guest can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving beverages and finger foods.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No there will be no provided transportation. There are driving apps (Uber, Lyft, or local taxis) if you plan on drinking. Please do not drink and drive!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guest to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ForRicherOrForPoindexter so we can keep track of all your pictures. We would also like to have our ceremony a phone free zone. Please put away all cellular devices during our ceremony.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.
