Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Drinks - Casual Attire: anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees. Ceremony/Reception - Semi-Formal: we recommend guests wear suits and ties, cocktail or evening dresses, or a jumpsuit/dress pants. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be inside as well as on their enclosed/heated terrace. We can't predict what the weather will be in March so we suggest a shawl or jacket to stay warm. There will be coat check.

Question

Is there parking for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The best way to get to District Winery is by Uber/Lyft, taxi, or metro. It is located just a few blocks away from the Navy Yard metro stop and a few blocks from the hotels we have reserved. If you use metro, take the Metro Green Line to the Navy Yard Station. District Winery is a short 5 minute walk from the Navy Yard Metro stop. If you plan on driving, consider reserving parking on SpotHero ahead of time. There are many parking garages located throughout Navy Yard as well, including a paid surface lot next to the venue (e.g. The Yards Lot Q).

Question

Do the hotels have parking?

Answer

Yes, each hotel has valet parking for $50-$60~ per car per night paid at check-in. Hotel guests can park at the hotel or use one of the various parking garages in the area (e.g. The Yards DC Lot F, $25-$35~ per night).

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

All events are within walking distance of the hotels, each other and the Navy Yard Metro so transportation will not be provided. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are easily accessible in the Navy Yard area!
