Things To Do

Blue Ridge Mountains

Gatlinburg has access to one of the best scenic drives around on the blue ridge parkway. It can get busy during the fall months. But made for some of the best photo ops and relaxing. Note that cell service is very spotty on the parkway.

Apple Barn Cider House

226 Apple Valley Road, Sevierville, TN 37862
, (865) 366-1248

This is a tried and true favorite country store in the Gatlinburg area. No trip is complete without stopping for some apple butter.

Rocky Top Wine Trail

2174 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
, (865) 389-9490

For any wine drinker, this is a great way to get a taste of the types of wine that Gatlinburg offers.

Ole Smoky Moonshine

903 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
, (865) 436-6995

If wine isn't your thing, Ole Smokey offers a wide variety of moonshine and offers tastings throughout the day to try some of their most popular flavors. Mountain java is our personal favorite.

Dollywood Parks Boulevard

Dollywood Parks Boulevard, Pigeon Forge, TN

If you need more excitement in your life, the Dollywood theme park is an excellent time for the whole family and will be decorated for the Halloween season.

Anakeesta Ridge

576 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738

Anakeesta offers plenty of sightseeing, dining, and shopping options and is a more laid-back option to Dollywood.

The Island Drive

The Island Drive, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863

The Island in Pigeon forge is another excellent all-around option for dining and shopping. It is free to park and to walk around. And there is often free entertainment going on at night.
