Gatlinburg has access to one of the best scenic drives around on the blue ridge parkway. It can get busy during the fall months. But made for some of the best photo ops and relaxing. Note that cell service is very spotty on the parkway.

Blue Ridge Mountains

This is a tried and true favorite country store in the Gatlinburg area. No trip is complete without stopping for some apple butter.

For any wine drinker, this is a great way to get a taste of the types of wine that Gatlinburg offers.

The Island in Pigeon forge is another excellent all-around option for dining and shopping. It is free to park and to walk around. And there is often free entertainment going on at night.
