Two entrances can access Yellowstone Park. You can travel to Big Sky and West Yellowstone, or to Livingston and Gardiner. Both are beautiful and it can make for a great loop to go in on one side, and come out the other entrance.
Both towns offer great food, shopping and have lots of options within walking distance.
4.5 miles with 1,975ft of elevation gain. Enjoy Fairy Lake and embark on a steep hike to the top of the highest peak in the Bridger Mountain range. You will see gorgeous views and maybe even some mountain goats at the top! This hike is HARD and does require an all-wheel drive vehicle to get you to the trailhead.
3.2 mile round trip (with different loop options), on the northeast end of Bozeman. This hike overlooks all of Bozeman and takes about 1-1.5 hours to complete.
Great hot springs to relax at in Paradise valley. There is a full bar, restaurant and lodging available, and it is located about 36 mins from Yellowstone National Park, via the Gardiner entrance.
