Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation should say how many seats have been reserved for you. While we would love to be able to let everyone bring a plus one, weddings are expensive and we haven't won the lottery (yet). Between the size constraints of our venue and budget restrictions, we have invited everyone we can feasibly host. If you have any concerns or additional questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are! We are doing several cash funds to upgrade our yard, which you can find on the registry tab. While we do have this registry for any guests who feel so inclined to generously provide a gift, we by no means expect this from anyone. We would be more than happy with just your presence on the big day!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to the bride or groom as soon as you are aware you're coming to the wedding and we will be happy to work with you for proper accommodation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there is! The venue has a private parking lot that is fenced in for the ceremony and reception. GPS will take you as far as the entrance to the road that leads you to the venue. There are small signs directing you towards the venue. This is a dirt road that is in between private residences. There is a very large sign to confirm you have reached the venue with our names, so we promise it is very blatant and easy to find the venue!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are trying to keep this a simple wedding without a lot of the extra (expensive) parties and events. For the few events outside of the ceremony and reception, we will reach out directly if we would like to request your involvement.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're not going to enforce a strict dress code, but you know what's appropriate to wear to a wedding. Please be mindful that this venue is a working horse farm and as such, the ground may not be ideal for high heels in certain locations. The color palette for the wedding is burgundy, navy, dark green, white, and gold. If you wish to dress for the wedding theme, by all means have fun! But if you show up wearing white the bridesmaids may have some words for you. ;)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In order to keep within our venue size and budget restrictions, children invites are limited to family of the bride and groom as well as the wedding party. While we would love to have everyone's little ones there to party with us, we unfortunately cannot host them for our big day. We would love to still see you at our celebration, but if you cannot attend due to this we completely understand.
