While socially distancing, Melanie and Jordan enjoyed many Sunday morning hikes through this beautiful natural area. With acre upon acre of trees, flowers, wildlife, and a few paths down to the beach, this place has a little bit of everything. It's a great spot to take in the natural beauty of the Central Coast. Use the parking lot directly across from Ellwood Elementary School for easy trail access.
These restaurants are directly on the beach. Shoreline Cafe is two miles up the bike path from the Cabrillo Pavilion. Boathouse, a bit further north, borders a dog beach and features more upscale cuisine.
Expensive ice cream, but dang it sure tastes good!
This is a short, ten minute hike resulting in an amazing view of the ocean, the mountains, and the city. Great place to catch a sunset or propose to the love of your life! (or both)
The historic Santa Barbara mission is a remnant of the Spanish influence in the area. The mission grounds include a wonderful grassy area and a phenomenal rose garden, which is the ideal backdrop for those pictures that will adorn your Instagram in the days to come.
