Jerry Manzano
Position: Best Man
Age: 25 Hometown: Mill Creek, WA Manzano has been a key player on Herrera's team since the moment they could both dribble a soccer ball, earning themselves the title of best dynamic duo every year since their 2013 season. Player tendencies: Socialite, maker of beer margs, knower of all random bars, master marketer, could sell you a stick off the street and a chill guy who just loves the game.
Faith Brooks
Position: Bridesmaid
Age: 23 Hometown: Bothell, WA Brooks has appeared in 18 seasons of Worthington’s life, making her the most tenured player on the team. They have truly seen each other at every stage, from drilling fundamentals to making their way in the big leagues. Player tendencies: Being badass, master of random hobbies, IronWoman, could take you and your man down in hand-to-hand combat but also knows the best brunch places in town.
Makai Shriner
Position: Groomsman
Age: 24 Hometown: Bellevue, WA Shriner became a starter on Herrera's team in 2019, when he saved Herrera from a random roommate assignment and quickly became his go-to player for the seasons following. Player Tendencies: Digital nomad, bathroom shotgunning, ordering a Pilsner alongside a wine tasting, known for his mysterious nature, old soul at heart and most likely to be on The Bachelor.
Mariah Ohman
Position: Bridesmaid
Age: 23 Hometown: Junction City, OR Ohman made her first appearance in the 2019 season of Worthington’s life, working her way up to team MVP for their 2023 senior season. Player tendencies: Always down for a good time and a glass of wine, embodiment of small town girl, card and board game aficionado, Harry Potter nerd and lover of country music and tequila shots.
Gabe Herrera
Position: Groomsman
Age: 19 Hometown: Woodinville, WA Herrera recently became a starter on the Groom's team after growing into his role and has scored on countless assists from the Groom, earning him the starting Striker position. Player tendencies: drives a Mercedes for the rizz, the culprit whenever cookies are missing, designated driver, loses 231 golf balls one day and the next day starts wondering if he could have gone D1.
Alexis Heald
Position: Bridesmaid
Age: 24 Hometown: Portland, OR Heald has been a starter on the team for many years, known for being an excellent teammate and earning herself Defensive Player of the Year all four college seasons of Worthington’s life. Player tendencies: Queen of bustin’ a move, fitness and style guru, shared closet roommate, most likely to have 3 cups of tea in one day and casually meet famous people or be related to them.
Jakob Longbottom
Position: Groomsman
Age: 24 Hometown: Yakima, WA Longbottom has been a loyal teammate to Herrera since their 2019 season, completing the legendary Marques-Makai-Jakob trio of the 2020 and 2021 seasons and making memories that will last a lifetime. Player tendencies: Making vegan brownies, bringing home a kitten from a Walmart parking lot, becoming an IronMan for something light, can spend an hour on the phone talking and feels like no time has passed, most likely to have spent all night playing FIFA.
Elyse Waldal
Position: Bridesmaid
Age: 21 Hometown: Snohomish, WA Waldal appeared in more recent seasons of Worthington’s life, but has made a big impact, becoming the leading scorer for 2021-2024 seasons. Player tendencies: If lost check the beach or the nearest thrift store, certified baller, most likely to choose a house based on sunset visibility alone, could whip you up the best smoothie known to man, was a dog in another life.
Logan Clizer
Position: Groomsman
Age: 24 Hometown: Portland, OR Clizer joined Herrera's team in the later seasons of life, their on-field connection truly blossoming when they made a bet during their 2022 season: whoever scores first has to buy the other drinks all night. The catch: they're both defenders. Who ends up assisting Herrera's goal to round out his senior season? Yep, it was Clizer. Player tendencies: most likely to golf in a Pro-Am, certified lover-boy, fried rice aficionado, probably ordered a G&T, could partner up with Worthington to sell you a Japanese vacuum - as long as he does the talking.
Nara Van de Grift
Position: Bridesmaid
Age: 24 Hometown: Astoria, OR Van de Grift was welcomed onto the team in recent years after being picked up from the “Sorority” Free Agency and has won the 2021-2024 Most Positive Teammate award. Player tendencies: probably training for a marathon or out being a good samaritan, could give legitimate dance lessons, most likely to order a Dirty Shirley and break out the Worm on the dance floor.
Ruben Lopez
Position: Groomsman
Age: 23 Hometown: Tualatin, OR Lopez was also an OG member of Herrera's team starting in 2019 as Herrera's favorite midfielder, his go-to pick-up player and training partner. Player tendencies: the friend who is down for anything, anytime - whether it's dominating in Call of Duty, scoring bangers on the field, hitting D1 in Rocket League, or being the Shotgunning King, he's always ready to give it his all.
