Our engagement was truly one of the best days of our lives. Jordan completely caught me off guard in the most thoughtful and unforgettable way. What I thought was just a special dinner for the two of us turned out to be the beginning of our forever. For the previous month I had thought that I was helping his mom plan his surprise birthday party. I had made dinner plans at Oceans 234 in Deerfield Beach, Florida, to go out just the two of us and then head back for his "surprise birthday party." After dinner, Jordan suggested we take a walk on the beach... it was a little rainy (and I had straightened my hair) so I was not necessarily wanting to go for a walk. But it was his birthday, so of course I said yes. As we walked along the beach, I noticed a beautiful setup with candles and flowers. I tried to pull Jordan away, thinking it was for someone else, but he kept walking. When we stepped into the setup (that Jordan had planned for my amazing friends to set up) Jordan looked at me and said, “This is the start of our life forever…” and asked me to marry him. It was the easiest yes I’ve ever said. And just when I thought it couldn’t get more special, I looked up to see our friends and family supporting us in this new season. Jordan also was able to get my parents down to Florida without me knowing, and that is impressive in and of itself. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
