Hey, out-of-town guests: we'll give this a "10/10" for location as it is directly across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn. Pizza + beer ... how can you go wrong?
Valpo Pour House
Mackenzie worked here for a year as a part time gig and LOVED every minute of it. The Pour House features self-serve beer by the ounce with rotating taps. Say, "hi!", to Kevin (her former boss) if he's in. Fun fact: some of our engagement pictures on this website were shot at the Pour House.
Indiana Dunes National Park
The Indiana Dunes is America's newest national park! The beach front boasts a view of the Chicago skyline. It is a Peterson family tradition to hike the dunes on Thanksgiving morning. Bonus : free entry in December!
Craft House
The Craft House is a local bar in Chesterton that is known for their huge selection of craft beer. Wedding guests will love the location as it is between the ceremony (St. Patrick's Church) and the reception (Sand Creek Country Club.)
