L: You guys, it still blows my mind to think that Jordan and I grew up 25 minutes from each other, went to the same church camps, conferences, BLAST competitions and even shared some of the same friends (or in his case, family) and never even knew it! I knew Jordan's cousin, Emily, growing up through church camp. I was friends with Em for two years before ever going away for college and never even knew she had a cousin named Jordan. Ever. haha! J: Chalk it up to being a late bloomer, but Lyndsie either never knew I existed or I didn't leave a real lasting impression on her HA! I would always see her senior picture on my Aunt and Uncle's fridge and think "Man, she's pretty", but never had a chance to meet her in person. Needless to say, our first time meeting was not my finest moment. I'll let her tell you that story... L: Well that's a story for another time– we have a 2000 character limit on this site people. ;) Short version is, we met at Emily's graduation, didn't hit it off at first, HOWEVER I couldn't stop thinking about this guy. We met again on move in day at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and became quick friends. We bonded over our love for music and so much more. A few months later, he asked me to be his girlfriend (by making me the cutest video on the planet). He always had a way of making me feel like the most important girl in the entire world. I couldn't stop raving to all my friends back home about how AMAZING he was. J: Lyndsie "had" me from the first moment I met her. Beautiful, kind, independent (stubborn), and an unbelievably talented singer. What I came to find out is how much more there is to Lyndsie and how much I couldn't live without her. Looking back, our story is not conventional and had plenty of ups and downs. What we have found is when the dust settles we always find our way back to each other. We have learned and grown so much through our relationship and we can't wait to see how God continues to in the years to come.
