Airport to City Center

Getting from Guadalajara Airport to the City Center Most guests will arrive at Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). The airport is about 12 miles from downtown Guadalajara, and the trip to the historic center takes about 25–35 minutes depending on traffic. Our wedding events and many hotels are located near Guadalajara Cathedral, in the heart of the historic center. Option 1: Uber (Recommended) Uber is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to get to downtown. Average cost of 170–250 MXN ($10–$15 USD) for UberX to downtown Option 2: Official Airport Taxi Official airport taxis are available just outside the arrivals hall. Purchase a prepaid ticket at the taxi kiosk inside the terminal. Show the ticket to the driver at the taxi stand outside. Average cost: 300–450 MXN ($15–$25 USD) to downtown.
