Why Newport, Rhode Island?

Answer

Jordan and I recently took a trip up to Newport in October 2025, which is where Jordan proposed. It's a beautiful town to visit during the fall and we think all of our guests will have a wonderful weekend, just as we did!

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Fall in Newport is beautiful! Expect mild days in the 60s and cooler evenings in the 40s. Since it is by the water, a light sweater or jacket is a good idea.

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation and when you go to RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Is the ceremony/reception outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will be under a beautiful tent. Cozy, covered, and heated to keep everyone comfortable no matter the weather!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We kindly ask that our celebration remain adults-only. Our venue sits on a marina dock and is surrounded by water, and for safety reasons we feel this is the best decision for everyone. We hope you will enjoy a relaxing evening celebrating with us!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a private parking lot for all of our guests if they choose to drive.

Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place?

Answer

Yes, both will be held in the same location.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Think elevated and festive. Suits or dresses that are polished, but not overly formal. Dress up and have fun.
