Although we love your children, and understand they are an important part of your family, our venue does not have the room for your little ones. Thus, this is an adult only event, aside from our immediate nieces and nephews. Treat this as a date night! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kiddos at home so you can celebrate with us. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Your presence on our big day is a gift in itself! That said, if you insist, we are saving for our first home. As we already live together, we have all the kitchen gadgets and home necessities we could need. Donating to our future would help us a lot more than a toaster! ;) There will be a labeled box at the reception.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be clearly noted on the back of your wedding invite envelope, and within your RSVP online. Otherwise, due to space and our hope to keep this as intimate as possible with close friends and family, we are unable to provide plus ones. Thank you for understanding.
If we DO NOT receive an RSVP by the designated date, 8/25/24, your invite will be seen as a decline, and we will be unable to accommodate you.
We would love to see our families and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code- tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! Preferably no white or burnt orange/ terracotta.
We will have a cash bar for all guests 21 and older! Get ready to check out the his and hers special drinks, and some in honor of our kitties, Mila and Murry!
The ceremony will take place outside in the gardens of Salem Cross Inn (weather permitting), and the reception will be inside the barn. The outdoor part will require walking on grass - keep that in mind if you are planning on any high heels.
With notice, Salem Cross Inn will be accommodating anyone with allergies/ dietary restrictions. When completing your RSVP, there is an option to select gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian. If you have further accommodations that need to be met (i.e. vegetarian and gluten free but the site only let's you select one, or you need something that is not already listed), please reach out to the maid of honor, Mary Louise, so we can ensure a safe and delicious meal for everyone! Yes! Feel free to take plenty of pictures of the ceremony, the decor, the bride and groom, you and your guest, etc.! Though we will have our AMAZING photographer Lindsey, from K&B Photography, we would love for you to capture special moments as well. We will have QR code's posted around the venue for you to upload any pictures to a shared album! P.S. Feel free to take pictures with the cows! :)
