Our Story

"Hi, I'd like an iced matcha with almond milk, vanilla syrup, and almond cold foam"

Boy works at coffee shop. Girl loves matcha. The rest is history. What started off as brief interactions here and there. A quick hello at the register. A "hows' your day?" while waiting for a drink. Quickly turned into. Longer hellos. "It's good to see you, how've you been?" Notes on cups. "Do you want a playlist?" "Can I get your number?" "Can you pray for this?" "Do you want to grab dinner with us?" "Have you heard this song?" "Look at this photo!" "Do you want to go get coffee? I'll pick you up at 2." "Do you want to go see a movie? I'll drive!" "Do you have dinner? I can drop something off?" "Do you want to come to karaoke?" "I saw this thing and thought of you!" "I'll text you when I'm home." We became official on 9/27/24. We tell everyone that we fell in love in two weeks. We went to a concert together, our first real date. and we just knew. People have always said that to me. That they just knew. That it was some crazy feeling they couldn't shake. Or that they woke up one day and realized that he or she was the one. It really is like that. I hate that they were right. But we really did just know. We became inseparable. Every single moment became something to remember. Even just listening to music together. We went to church and prayed hard and walked through grief and laughed until we cried and danced in the kitchen and worshipped and created inside jokes and explored new cities and became a family. He and I. Our own little world. The deepest most sacrificial, gentle, passionate, and real love we'd both ever known. He proposed on June 5th, 2025. The Lord has been as faithful as ever. We've saved up every penny for this wedding and have met incredible people along the way. We wouldn't be here without the Lord's grace and kindness and love. He really is the one who loves us first. We are so excited to celebrate with you. We are counting down every second. Because, as Harry Burns says: "When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible" - When Harry Met Sally See you at the altar. (we'll both be crying)
