Our love story began at Point Loma Nazarene University in sunny San Diego, California. For months, we were two familiar faces in a sea of students—always catching each other’s eye across campus and sharing warm smiles in the cafeteria. Though our paths crossed frequently, we never spoke until Lauren’s graduation day, when the stars finally aligned. Our relationship's beginning is truly a testament to God's perfect timing. A week after Lauren's graduation, our journey together truly began with a lunch date in Laguna Beach at Urth Caffé. What was meant to be a simple meal turned into a full day of laughter and connection, igniting the spark of genuine friendship and partnership. We embraced each other’s quirks and found joy in our shared moments, and that single day together marked the start of something beautiful. As fate would have it, shortly after, Lauren embarked on a month-long European adventure with friends, while Jordan returned to Colorado for the summer. Despite the 5,000 miles and a 9-hour time difference between us, our bond grew stronger with each passing day. The distance only made us grow fonder of one another as we navigated Italy and Colorado with the same ease we had shared in Laguna Beach. When summer ended, we reunited as Lauren began her medical school journey and Jordan returned to Point Loma. Over the next two years, our weekends were filled with road trips between San Diego and Redlands, each drive a testament to our commitment and love. And then, in October of 2023, Jordan took us back to where it all began. On the shores of Laguna Beach, he recreated our very first date and proposed, making the moment as magical as the day we met.
