We met at my high school's softball game when he came to support my team and I in a championship game. After that we exchanged text messages, and continued to communicate with one another for a few months. We arranged a couple of dates, and as time went on, our friendship turned into a relationship, and that's how it all started. And six years later, (about time, right?) we're becoming husband and wife!

On Fourth of July weekend of 2019, we were surrounded by family and friends at a cookout when he suggested that we go for a walk down to the water. Once we got about halfway there, he stopped, looked at me, got down on one knee, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. The easiest "Yes!" of my life!
